The State of the Modern Kitchen

There isn’t much to complain about when looking at the choices available for your kitchen. If you think about automobiles, the average sedan hasn’t really gone up in price in the last 10 years, but the modern version is light years ahead in terms of build quality, safety, and technological innovation. The same could be said for products for the home kitchen. Appliances are more efficient, quieter, and there are more choices at all price points than ever before. 15 years ago the brand name LG Electronics barely existed and now they are a major player in the home appliance market, providing a whole new set of design options in an already crowed market. Countertops, sinks and faucets, tile, flooring, lighting-every piece and part of a contemporary kitchen has more options than ever. The biggest challenge is to not get overwhelmed by it all.
