I was buying stamps for a mailing yesterday and wanted something more interesting than the boring "forever" flags. I knew I could find something nice but I wasn't expecting these gorgeous Charles and Ray Eames commemoratives.
This husband and wife team produced some of the finest design work of the twentieth century. The post office could produce another series of 16 stamps and still not cover their significant work.
